this past family day weekend we went away with my side of the family to Ottawa! I was quite looking forward to skating on the Rideau Canal but my that went differently, as I sprained my ankle the day before 🙁 we did still go to the Rideau, I just sat in a sweet santa’s sleigh for a ride with the kiddos. I always have a hard time deciding whether to take my “big” camera with me on trips or to just leave it at home and document with my phone. but i’m super glad I decided to take my camera with me as we don’t always get to hangout as a family  (we were missing a few members of the fam) and so many sweet memories were made over the weekend. enjoy!
